Eight days to go

There's so much we have to remember to do...just getting the house into a place where i'm happy to leave it in the boys capable hands is taking me some time. Russell has today and tomorrow to work and then his holidays start so we will both be in the right frame of mind by Friday 20th.
Between us we are slowly catching up with everyone for a final hooroo and its such a delight to know we are held so dear.
i've only a few more little gifts to get and we can finish that next week so that Christmas will happen for our boys with the usual gifts if not the usual pomp and ceremony that Russ and i put into the occasion. They are planning a sumptuous feast for themselves,(Jake, Alex and Ben & Josie) that will include some of their "orphan" friends. I've come to accept that they are as excited about their own Christmas as we are about our white christmas in Italy...
