Seven days to go...

Friday today and exactly seven days to go!Its feeling real now!
Russell's last day at work and it sounds like he's giving his workmates plenty of notice that today is his last day.ha ha
I'm still doing my last minute tidying and preparing for Christmas and today caught up with my friend Disie for coffee. I love that we'll be able to stay in touch with everyone while we're away...it seems like such a long time to be away from home...gee i'm a sook!

Ben called in for a visit this morning (He moved out of home last weekend) and i could tell he had missed us as much as we've missed him. He got a bit of a surprise that his room was stripped and cleaned and made up ready should we need to use it...ha ha you snooze you lose buddy! And we've had a little mother/son chat about the STATE OF THE ROOM! I wish i'd had one of those hazchem suits it was so bad!
All done now.
So between now and next Friday...last minute errands to run...packing...some christmas gifts to buy...visit the bank and then...start slipping into holiday mode.
Sweet!
Date night tonight...may have to go out for dinner. As they say on Doctor Phil "out to a restuarant where you look down instead of up at the menu!"
